Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement, and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning money or to pursue as a hobby. This led to her began to write songs of her own. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favorite songwriters. The singer decided to perform her songs publicly when her mother said they can help other people, not be famous with her work but to make those around them see their own importance and how they can affect the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began making music when she was 9 years old. She didn't tell her family about it until she turned 14. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. She believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
